The FYBA Academy

The FYBA Academy is a 6 week basketball camp for grades 1 - 8, and is separate from the Regular Season. The Academy’s focus is on teaching basketball fundamentals to beginning and intermediate players over the course of six 1½ hour Saturday sessions. Core skills taught include ball handling, footwork, shooting, rebounding, offense, and defense. The Academy is optional but is a great opportunity for players to learn some basic skills in preparation for the Regular Season. Typically we hold a Fall Academy which precedes that Regular Season and ends before the Regular Season practices begin.  We also hold a Spring Academy which follows the end of the Regular Season.  The Academy is open to players in grades 1-8. Refunds

FYBA ACADEMY REFUNDS

Refund amounts for the FYBA Academy will be based on the date that the player withdrawal request is received.  All refund requests must be sent by email to the Registrar at Registrar@folsomyouthbasketball.com

  • Pre-Camp Refund - The pre-camp refund period starts from the day the player registers to the start of the first FYBA Academy session. The refund amount is the cost of registration minus a $5 administrative fee.
  • Regular Camp Refund - The regular refund period begins after the start of the first FYBA Academy session.   The refund amount is the cost of registration minus the $5 administrative fee and $13 per session that has taken place.  The player may keep the camp T-shirt.

All refunds will be made in the same manner as payment was made. Payments made by check will be made with a check mailed to the player's home address of record. Payments made by credit card will be made by a refund to the same credit card.  Please allow up to 14 days for refund processing after the withdrawal request is received for all payments made by credit card and up to 45 days for all payments made by cash or check.
