Fundamentals skills training with John Heise
Posted: 08/12/2010

It's time to knock of the basketball rust that has set in during the off-season and get ready for the upcoming season.  Players will learn the fundamental skills necessary to compete on the basketball floor.  These sessions are designed to teach all players, regardless of experience, the proper way of shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding and defending.  Each session consists of drills and fun games - there are no scrimmages or basketball games.  Players should bring their own basketball to each one-hour session.  The grouping below is simply a starting point as there is some flexibility - players may register for a session other than the one for their grade, if needed.  Advanced sessions are reserved primarily for those athletes who have attended John's prior clinics and have obtained a solid grasp of the fundamentals as instructed.
